In the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation Estate (GIDC Estate), PEAT completed the construction of a PTDR-100 plasma gasification system, which served as its Asia demonstration facility.

The system has already processed a wide range of solid waste streams, including toxic waste, hazardous waste, medical waste, biomedical waste, industrial waste (organic & inorganic) and pharmaceutical waste. The plasma gasification system was commissioned in February 2008 and is being relocated to a site either in Taiwan or China.
